It contains the first eight Mega Man games as they've appeared on various consoles (NES, SNES and PSone) since 1987, plus two coin-op arcade titles, Mega Man: The Power Battles, and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters.
It's represents a playable history of sorts, from the early days when gameplay was more about challenging interactions with simplistic graphics, then the evolution of those graphics while staying true to the robo-boy hero playing through progressively challenging games.
