Discovery Communications (of Discovery Channel fame, obviously) has just inked three new game licensing deals, one based on general Discovery Channel content and two others based on specific shows, Deadliest Catch and Cash Cab.

Cash Cab for mobile phones (including iPhone), expected this summer, will offer taxi-flavored trivia against the clock. Deadliest Catch, also for mobiles but with no release date set, will have players charting a course from Dutch Harbor, Alaska, in one of the famous boats (w/ crew) from the series to try their hand at crab fishing (fullest hold wins).

The Discovery Channel Trivia Video Game, coming holiday 2010 for all new generation consoles and PC, meanwhile, will feature multiple Q&A based on the sometimes awe-inspiring facts learned through popular Discovery Channel programs.

What, no Mythbusters game? Shame.
