Bungie recently noted that its modestly successful game, Halo 3, recently hit a somewhat significant milestone: 1 billion matches played since the game's release about 18 months ago.
By contrast, another of Bungie's little ditties, Halo 2, released more than 4 years ago and still played today, has only logged a scant 798 million total matches played in all that time. Okay, that's also a lot. Just sayin'.
Bungie also estimated total online matchmaking Halo 3 play time to be in or around, oh, 2,023,153,340,764 seconds, give or take, which is about 64,109 years.
Yeesh, where did the time go?
